The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) is the committee that works with the Associate Dean of Research and the Research Office. Their charge is to help determine what the COPH can do to help researchers find research funding, prepare competitive research grants, assist in grant submission, and disseminate important research funding.
During the past year, the RAC has played a critical role in designing the new research web site for the college, gave input to the IRB Core Committee on stream lining the human subjects approval process as well as improving the forms, and identified topics for workshops to educate faculty and staff on essential elements in grant preparation.
