Ways to Give Student Input

  • Student Suggestion Box
    • MEZCOPH students have great ideas, and we want to hear them! A physical Student Suggestion Box and an Online Student Suggestion Box are available to provide students with an opportunity to share feedback and suggestions. We appreciate the feedback and we take suggestions seriously! A main objective of the Student Suggestion Boxes is to get the suggestion/feedback in front of the appropriate College colleague, office, or committee for consideration. Please remember, however, that not all suggestions and great ideas are implementable. Sometimes a follow-up dialogue about the suggestion brings greater clarity and understanding to the issue for all concerned parties.
    • The Physical Student Suggestion Box is located on the first floor of Drachman Hall next to the water fountain. This box is checked by the Office of Student Services every week. Students can submit anonymous suggestions to the physical box but must include their contact information if they would like someone to follow-up with them.
  • College of Public Health Student Affairs Committee - Generally used for concerns that a group of students would like to raise around curriculum, physical space, student groups, etc. Please contact Ryley Tegler for the fall and spring meeting schedule.
  • Meet with Assistant Dean Chris Tisch. If you have a serious issue that you would like to discuss in person or over the phone, please schedule an appointment to meet with Chris by contacting her assistant, Gisela Ochoa at ochoag@email.arizona.edu.
  • Share your concern, suggestion, or feedback with your advisor, graduate coordinator, or faculty mentor.
  • Feedback about a class can be shared directly with your faculty instructor or TA, on the mid-course evaluation, and the end of the semester Teacher-Course Evaluation (TCE).
  • Dean’s Dialogues: Periodically, the Dean hosts a “Dean’s Dialogue” session for the purpose of hearing issues from the student perspective. Information about these dialogues will be advertised via email.
