Application for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023

Graduate Students – Main Campus or Phoenix Campus

Students should complete this form if they are interested in College of Public Health teaching assistantships. Named scholarships from the College of Public Health, as well as other University of Arizona scholarships, can be found at Scholarship Universe. Scholarship Universe can be accessed once you are officially admitted by the Graduate College, and you have set up your UA NetID and password.

The information provided on this application assists the College in matching student experience, skills, and need to appropriative TA assignments. We ask that you provide specific, comprehensive and accurate information. Additional materials may be requested.

MEZCOPH Teaching Assistant Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid for US citizens and permanent residents) or Online Calculator (International Students).
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 graded graduate units each semester.
  • Maintain a 3.0, or above, Grade Point Average.

Applicants MUST verify financial need by completing the following:

  • Domestic Students:
    • FAFSA - submitted as soon as possible (March 1 priority). A FAFSA must be completed for each year you are seeking funding.  
  • International Students:

In addition, international students will need to complete a Financial Guarantee and may be asked to provide additional supporting information, depending on the source of scholarship funds awarded.

All applicants will be required to submit an updated resume or CV.
