Center for Rural Health (CRH)
Known as the Rural Health Office until summer 2011, has been in existence for more than 23 years. Established through an Arizona legislative appropriation, the CRH has provided an extensive framework for service collaboration with underserved communities. (Center website)

Center of Excellence in Women’s Health (WCOE)
The mission of the WCOE is to improve the health and wellness of women throughout the lifecycle, with an emphasis on Hispanic and underserved women. Environment, Exposure Science and Risk Assessment Center (ESRAC)
The mission of ESRAC is to integrate Public Health with Environmental Research. UA researchers excel at interdisciplinary collaboration across a broad range of topics related to environmental hazard identification and human health effects. The Environment, Exposure Science and Risk Assessment Center (ESRAC) at the University of Arizona Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, integrates public health impact assessment across existing environmental research disciplines. Meetings: There are seminars for Cancer Prevention and Control (Wednesdays at 9:00 AM in Kiewit Auditorium), and Cancer Biology (Mondays, same time and place). Other than that there are really no formal gatherings.
Skin Cancer Institute (SCI)
The Skin Cancer Institute (SCI) is a unique partnership focused on patient care, community outreach, research, and education as strategies to prevent and cure skin cancer. Asthma Clinical Research Center (ACRC)
The American Lung Association has opened an Asthma Clinical Research Center (ACRC) at the University of Arizona. The ACRC is the nation's largest not-for-profit network of clinical research centers dedicated to asthma treatment research, attracting some of the best asthma investigators worldwide. Meetings: (email) We don’t have a regular meeting where this type of connection might occur but those interested in learning more about the Center might want to attend the Pulmonary Medicine conferences (adult) or the Winter Lung Series (will start in October). We usually advertise these seminars widely but don’t really get anyone in public health outside of the group mentioned above.
